When you book an experience with us, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to two historic farms in the South of Scotland each offering a very different tour. From the Farms to the Fibre Processing, this unique experience gives you an insight into the traditional ways of farming life and how we process the fleece and wool at Creation Mill CIC.
Your tour will be tailored to your interests, whether that’s hands-on time with the animals , learning about how they are cared for, the history and stories of the land to the wool processing of the fleece and wool.

Meet the animals: Spend time feeding, interacting and learning about the alpacas and sheep in their natural environment
Fibre Processing: Get hands on with the various processes used in developing your wool and fleece into a finished craft with Emma at Creation Mill. From Scouring to felting, Emma will guide you to create your own bespoke gift to take away.
Tailored Experience: Perfect for small groups, families, or anyone looking for a truly authentic, off-the-beaten-path Scottish experience from farm to fibre.
Explore and Discover Langholm: Extend your stay and enjoy exploring the “Muckle Toon” and surrounding area with our many historic sites, gardens, cafes, shops and outdoor activities.
