Coastal Woodland Quests - Fire and Feather

Join Ranger Toni and Pauline on Friday the 10th July at 10am to make your own ink from natural materials.

For this quest we will make our own natural ink over the fire using materials found in the woodland. Then, from the bird hide, we will observe local birds and use our handmade inks and pigments to sketch what we see. This fun, hands on session blends art, nature, and discovery encouraging curiosity, creativity, and a deeper connection to the wild world around us.

This is a relaxed family session aimed at children up to 8 years old. Please note that children must be supervised at all times.
