Meet others with the same interest in riding and competing. Endurance is a discipline that can be enjoyed by all.
Our rides start with taster classes which can be between 8km - 14km long [5 - 7 miles]
Pleasure classes range between 15 - 29km long [ 9 - 18 miles]
Both Taster and pleasure classes are open to all, whether a member or non member
Competitive classes range between 30km right up to 160km [ 20 - 100 miles] for the more advanced horse and rider.
To take part in these classes you do need to be a member either of Scottish Endurance or another recognised endurance organisation
The Endurance experience is unique - riding over our beautiful Scottish countryside either on your own or with friends.
This ride will consist of the old well established Hoddom route, lovely flowing fields alongside the river Annan, some tracks and very little roadwork.
New for 2026 there will be additional loops on both sides of the B723 taking in more of the Annandale Way and Beyond the wonderful sight that is Bunswark.
