An exhibition of new and recent works in textile, ceramic and wood by artist Katie Schwab that extends her longstanding engagement with social histories of craft, design and education, particularly in the post-war period.
Across six works, she draws on references to her own family history in textile production as well as aspects of Cample Mill’s own material and economic history. Katie has said: ‘I like artworks that can be lived with, that aren’t isolated from daily life.’
She lives and works in Glasgow.
