This November, The Stove Cafe welcomes artist Andrew Nichol to share a collection of paintings created over the past 12 months during a pro-longed hospital stay.

Focusing on experimentation, mark-making and the expressive quality of the paint, Andrew has created a huge body of work over the course of a year, working on several paintings each evening. His quick and immediate way of creating has inspired us to reflect on the process of creativity and ‘getting into the flow’. The best way to make art is to start!
