Dunskey Fire Feast

A secret woodland, a roaring fire, and a menu cooked entirely over open flame. Vietnamese grilled scallops, a recipe born on the street food stalls of Saigon, brought to the heart of a Scottish woodland. Alongside Cajun salmon, estate-farmed lamb, open-fire roasted Killantringan pork, and bourbon and maple glazed pineapple to finish.

A ceilidh band, open flames, and long tables beneath the trees. Saturday 30th May just got even better.

Life O'Reilly, one of the finest local folk and ceilidh bands around, will be joining us for the Dunskey Fire Feast and we couldn't be more excited to have them.

Long tables beneath the trees. Open flames. Food cooked the way it was always meant to be, slowly, with fire, and with people you actually want to spend an evening with.

The menu this time: Cajun salmon, scallops with peanut, chilli and spring onion.

Open-fire roasted Killantringan pork with lime and herb dressing, estate-farmed lamb with mint yogurt, beef steak with green peppercorn, harissa marinated chicken. All served in waves with jacket potatoes, Asian slaw, sriracha orzo, heritage tomatoes, salad, pita bread and wraps.

Bourbon and maple glazed pineapple with coconut-lime mascarpone.

Tickets are £75 per person. Portions of proceeds go to Stranraer Academy.
