Drop in on our Quilters of Shambellie House who will be in residence for our annual ‘QUILT FLING’ with a small exhibition of quilts, demonstrations and fabric sales.
The exhibition includes the quilts made by the pupils of New Abbey Primary school who are doing a project on the Heritage of New Abbey as well as attending their Quilt Fling quilt challenge which this year features ‘anything Japanese’. They will also be exhibiting their photographs, drawings and paintings.
Other artists, makers and photographers will also be exhibiting and there will be lots of information for you to find out what is available at Shambellie.
There will be an array of fabric on sale from £6 per metre, fat quarters, notions, patterns and packs as well as second hand books to inspire your own projects!
Booking is not necessary but helpful so we have enough cake! Groups welcome.
