Calling all nature hunters and little Dora explorers! Visit Caerlaverock Castle anytime during the dates on the poster to help us find every single living species we have on site. Download the Inaturalist app and find our project ‘Caerlaverock Castle Bioblitz 2026’ to help identify and record all the data. We want to identify every insect, plant, ,fungi tree and more, so come along and take part with us. Week long recording exercise of the flora and fauna at Caerlaverock, spotter sheets for children and recording sheets for adults. Visitors should where possible bring binoculars and a smart phone.
